“This work is fully modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D. I have used BodyPaint and Photoshop for the textures. I start modeling the snail shell, to do this I use a spiral spline and a circular shape inside a sweep NURBS, I activate it and adjust the spiral parameters to get both the necessary turns and the thickness at the beginning and at the end.”

“This image was created as a cover for the PC game for client Akella where the player had to participate in sea battles, trade with various countries and to establish own colony in East India. The main idea I choose naval officer in ceremonial suit at a marine landscape. I specifically avoid any action in this figure. I want to draw brave and nobility captain. Since the game takes place in the English colonies, I use English military costumes.”

“The theme chosen for the CGArena challenge (Accident) opens a wide range of illustration possibilities. That’s why I decided to join into it and won the 3rd place. I didn’t have a clean idea of what to illustrate from the beginning, but what I had in mind was doing an original and funny illustration, which deviates from the standard idea of ‘accident’, i.e. car crashes, plane crashes and so on.”

I choose this outfit for him, because I felt that among the numerous wolverine models, already done out there, none that I know of has this outfit and in the movies or in the comics, wolverine is famous for his jacket and vest looks. So I decided to model him with his jacket.”
