“Before doing the painting, first of all try to find the inspiration or something that you really want to paint, as for portrait realism attempt, we have to observe the subject, sketch over so many time, until we finally catch the essence or the mood, you can do traditional at the piece paper first, try not to trace but when you’re ready, you can directly use the tablet for the efficient use and time, some random sketch with pencil, Hyde is really interesting subject to paint, since from time to time, he always change his appearance.”

Making of the Mother Love

“This image is created for the CGArena challenge themed “Beautiful” and I won the second prize for this image. Thanks for all the sponsors and CGArena. The concept was to show a rough stone statue in a cold autumn environment. The statue represents a mother breast feeding and where the baby’s mouth touches the breast, the stone becomes warm flesh, showing love and humanity. I had my first baby 18 months ago and for me the image of his mother breast feeding was of an absolute beauty! I’m using Lightwave and Modo for all my modeling.”

Making of La Espera

“I am proudly present this making to all the great artists. La espera was created entirely in Lightwave. At first we used the 9.3 version which had already incorporated significant advances in fast skin y global light, then look at version 9.6 I could see that the improvements were even more notable, therefore rendering was done in this latest version. In the following pictures you can see the modeling process.”

“I want a complete next-gen model for my show reel, and Wolverine is my favorite comic book character. So, I decide to make a game model of him. I choose this outfit for him, because I felt that among the numerous wolverine models, already done out there, none that I know of has this outfit and in the movies or in the comics, wolverine is famous for his jacket and vest looks. So I decided to model him with his jacket.”
